Join us for the 4th Annual Flamingo Fun Run (3.14 run or walk) in Grangeville, Idaho. The inspiration behind the Flamingo Fun Run is Oakley, a vibrant six year-old who wins the hearts of everyone she meets. Her curly red hair is as striking as her lovable personality. She was diagnosed with SMA Type 2 when she was 20 months old. Oakley’s favorite color is pink and she loves flamingos. If you ask her about them she will tell you, “they stand on one leg”.

The Flamingo Fun Run has been a great success, and we are looking forward to another great year of supporting Cure SMA and raising awareness of Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The run will start at the corner of State and North Street at 9:30AM. There will be prizes for the top finishers in different age categories and for the best “flamingo” costume. Following the run you can enjoy live entertainment, food vendors, dancing, wiener dog races and more Oktoberfest fun. It will be a great fall community event. Wear something pink and come join us as we run, so someday they can!

Please register by September 18, 2017 to be guaranteed an event shirt.
