As news about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, Cure SMA has now decided to cancel all events (i.e., galas, dinners, Walk-n-Rolls, Summit of Strength) through the end of May. This decision took into account the most recent recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to limit or cancel all gatherings of 10 people or more for the next 8 weeks. Recognizing the time and effort that our event organizers and families put into planning and preparing for the events in advance, at this time we hope to make sure that the focus of the SMA community remains on staying healthy.
This decision does impact the “2020 North Jersey Walk-n-Roll”, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 16 at Alvin Williams Park in Sewaren, NJ. At this time, we are working to identify options for this event and will alert event registrants as soon as we know more.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to email@example.com or 800.886.1762.
The Cure SMA Walk-n-Roll is a fun, family friendly event that supports Cure SMA’s mission of driving breakthroughs in treatment and care and providing families the support they need for today.
We welcome you to join us as an individual or start a team with your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. The Walk-n-Roll is filled with fun activities and entertainment, and celebrates the strength of the SMA community.
By supporting this event and raising money, you will help fund programs that will continue to change the course of SMA for everyone affected from infants to adults and eventually lead to a cure.
