The Summit of Strength is a community educational program hosted by Cure SMA. This program is currently in its fourth year, after three successful years of bringing together almost 3,000 attendees from all across the United States in person, and almost 1,300 live viewers virtually through the Summit of Strength Webinar Series!
Summits are crafted to provide people of all ages and types of SMA, and their caregivers, the opportunity to network and learn about the latest advances in treatment, care, advocacy, and support. This local engagement highlights Cure SMA’s core values and further strengthens the bonds that make our communities so vibrant!
These half-day events offer informative presentations from local and national experts who have years of experience specific to spinal muscular atrophy. Each summit presents a unique agenda of topics ranging from research, care, stress management, nutrition and much more! Cure SMA greatly values attendee feedback and strives to continuously add new topics and to build locally customized agendas.
This is a free program which includes breakfast, lunch, and parking for all attendees. Childcare and entertainment will not be available at the Summit of Strength, but children are welcome to attend with a parent or caregiver. We would also like to make our attendees aware that Cure SMA will be executing necessary COVID-19 precautions per CDC guidelines.
