Team Erin Go Bragh
On March 15th (2 days before St Patrick's Day) I will be running my first half marathon in New York City! While many of you prepare to drink endless pints of Guinness, I will be running 13.1 miles with the goal of raising money for the Cure SMA Erin Trainor Memorial Fund (ETMF).
The ETMF was established to provide scholarships to newly diagnosed families to attend the Annual Cure SMA Conference, where they can learn about the disease, meet with leading researchers and join a community of friends, family and supporters. In addition, Cure SMA provides resource and guidance to families affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy as well as directing comprehensive research that drives breakthroughs in treatment and care.
I will be running with Team Erin Go Bragh which in Gaelic means "Ireland Forever" or Erin Forever in memory of my cousin Erin Trainor (September 10, 1993 - February 17, 1994). All proceeds donated will benefit this incredible organization and the Erin Trainor Memorial Fund.
Thank you for your consideration!
